Commemoration of the 1st November 1954 Revolution

On 1^st November 2024, the Embassy of Algeria in Kampala held official celebrations to mark the 70^th anniversary of Algeria's historic revolution against French colonial rule which began on 1^st November, 1954. The event, hosted by the Algerian Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Amokrane Mourad, at his residence on Kyadondo Road, Nakasero, in Kampala, was graced by Uganda's Minister of Internal Affairs, Gen. Kahinda Otafiire, as the chief guest. The event was celebrated under the theme “Glorious November: Loyalty and Renewal”
